We developed the SDDC with Deepsea Technologies and used the technology to complete diverless tie-ins on the first ever mechanically connected pipeline offshore Malaysia. We used ROVs and the SDDC® to successfully install the connections between the rigid pipeline and flexible riser, without the use of divers. This compact system helps operators achieve a 20% cost reduction and provides a safe alternative to conventional diver installations.
